Search, Register and Manage Domains in the Client Area
29 October 2026 · 6 min read
Bring a domain you already own, or register one with HostPanda. DNS, nameservers, renewals and transfer codes live next to your hosting.
Domains next to hosting, not a separate portal
Many hosts tell you to bring your own domain and leave DNS somewhere else. HostPanda also works fine if your name stays at another registrar. You can point nameservers to ns1.hostpanda.uk and ns2.hostpanda.uk when you are ready to go live.
If you prefer one login, open Domains in the Client Area. Search for a name, register it, and manage it beside your hosting services.
What you can do on a domain
Open a domain to switch between overview, nameservers, DNS and transfer. Use HostPanda nameservers or set custom ones. Edit zone records when you need A, CNAME, MX and similar entries. Renew when the date approaches. Request an auth code when you transfer out, after you unlock the domain.
WHOIS privacy and transfer lock controls sit on the overview so you can see the basics without leaving the account.
- Search and register from Domains.
- HostPanda or custom nameservers.
- DNS zone editor in the same account.
- Renew and request an auth code for transfers.
Hosting without buying a domain from us
Hosting plans do not force a bundled free domain. Use a name you already own, or register with HostPanda when you want everything in one place. The service page still shows the nameservers and connection details for that hosting package.
For step-by-step pointing from another registrar, the Client Area knowledge base article on pointing your domain walks through the nameserver change.
